n8n operates workflow automation, credential connections and AI-related Browser Use, Chat Trigger and database nodes. Its October advisories cover several independent trust boundaries: server-local upload paths and human consent, embedded chat setup authentication, old main-process code nodes, wrong-principal OAuth callbacks and Oracle vector metadata identifiers. They require different configurations and are not one shared incident. The third-party n8n-mcp adapter has a separate maintainer, credential store and vulnerability set.
