OpenAI, Anthropic tell Australia they would welcome data breach rules
Reuters reports October 6 testimony to an Australian parliamentary inquiry in which OpenAI and Anthropic said they would welcome mandatory reporting rules for data breaches caused by AI agents. OpenAI's Jason Kwon said disclosure decisions were currently being made without a general mandatory framework and acknowledged its internal awareness process could have been better.
