Record description

Wiz CIRT investigated live cloud intrusions in which the team attributed coordinated activity to AI-directed attacker infrastructure. Its October 19 reconstruction documents remote access, cloud identity escalation, workload token abuse and exfiltration paths across AWS, GCP, Kubernetes and CI/CD. The report is investigator evidence for specific incidents; it is not a public dataset proving that every action was autonomous.

The team's analysis supports confirmed malicious cloud-control-plane effects while treating precise AI model identity and proportion of autonomy as less directly observable. Reuse of valid deployment credentials also explains how a GitOps controller could receive direct state changes absent a malicious source commit.
